HK inno.N is recognized as a company that puts gender equality in employment and work-life balance culture into practice through employment improvement measures.
HK inno.N announced on May 30th that it was selected as a company of excellence in gender equality in employment and thus awarded a commendation from the Minister of Employment and Labor at the ‘2022 Equality in Employment Contribution Award’ held by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
According to HK inno.N, the women employees’ proportion has increased for the last three years from 24.75% in 2019 to 25.05% in 2020 and 26.79% in 2021.
The company explained, "We are actively leading the trends in hiring and retaining the female workforce, with the proportion of female employment and female managers accounting for over 70% of the industry average for two consecutive years from 2020.“
HK inno.N is implementing expansion of the proportion of female managers, the equal starting salary for male and female new employees, an emergency child care leave system, active operation of reduced working hours during the childcare period, and parental leave for men.
Mr. Myeong-ho Eom, managing director of the Human Resources Support Office, said, “We are making innovative efforts in the overall HR management to spread the culture of gender equality in this company. We are taking the lead to create a happy workplace for all employees in the environment where they can demonstrate their abilities without discrimination based on gender.”
