Roche Diagnostics Korea participates in the ‘24th International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) WorldLab Seoul 2022’, taking place at the COEX, Gangnam, Seoul.

IFCC is the most prestigious conference in the area of diagnostic laboratory medicine in the world, which has been held every three years since 1954. Over 3,000 experts in diagnostic laboratory medicine and clinical chemistry from 100 or so countries gather to share their latest knowledge.

This year’s IFCC will be held with the subject ‘Value-based Diagnostic Laboratory Medicine’ until 30th June both online and in person.

Roche Diagnostics Korea participates in this conference under the banner ‘We Care. We Lead. We Lead because We Care’ and introduces the latest diagnostic solution equipment.

In two separate innovation rooms, a mobile digital blood glucose management solution and mass spectrometers, which will be released later in Korea, are introduced. Because these products are not yet released in Korea, they have some confidential information, thus the booths are only open to pre-booked participants due to security reasons.

Roche Diagnostics Korea complies with the quarantine measures when operating its booth in consideration of the situation where Covid-19 is still not finished, and at the same time, runs a virtual booth for participants who cannot visit in person.

Mr. Kit Tang, CEO of Roche Diagnostics Korea, said, “I am very pleased that IFCC postponed due to Covid-19 is finally taking place. In this year’s IFCC, we introduce an innovative and diverse portfolio from diagnostic tests to digital healthcare solutions simultaneously online and in person.”

“Roche Diagnostics Korea will endeavor to contribute to improving the healthcare environment for medical staff and patients by introducing our innovative diagnostic solutions rapidly in Korea,” he added.
