Oh Dongwook, CEO of Pfizer Korea, “ESG Management, a Duty to All Businesses”

Pfizer Korea announced an ESG initiative, ‘Movement toward the Healthier World’ on August 4, expressing its will to strengthen ESG management.

For this purpose, the company selected 6 major focus areas including response to climate changes, equal access to medicines, diversity-equality-inclusivenss, corporate ethics, drug quality, and drug safety.

The company is carrying out a company-wide campaign to create a sustainable environment in addition to ongoing environmental campaigns based on the partnership with the Forests for Life.

It will also introduce differentiated programs in the social area through collaboration with non-profit organizations.

Global Pfizer has been carrying out sustainability projects in the environmental area in accordance with its policy of ESG management, and under such an effort, has signed agreements to reduce greenhouse gas emission by 45% and to enhance health equality of 1.2 billion people in 45 countries.
