The Needs & Seeds Communication Lab, a marketing communications company, launched Listen To Patients, a specialized patient research service in Korea on February 2.

Listen To Patients, whose name has the meaning of "listening to the patient voice," is a specialized patient research service founded on the belief that patient-centered insights shall contribute to better care.

Through the service’s website, it conducts a variety of research, including interviews, surveys, and competitions, with patients and caregivers in various disease areas including severe and intractable diseases.

The Needs & Seeds explained that it would provide diverse contents to patients and caregivers to help them think about what it means to be truly patient-centered and offer hope and encouragement to those who are currently suffering from severe and intractable diseases.

To coincide with its launching, Listen to Patients will be conducting research on the topic of "Unmet Needs of Cancer Patients" together with ‘Amidahae’, a non-profit organization for cancer patient survival, as the first survey to improve the cancer treatment environment.

It will publish the result of this survey in March.

Ms Caroline Myung, CEO of The Needs and Seeds, said, "This is a research service that aims to shed light on the realities of patients and their caregivers and seek a better treatment environment. We have taken the first step with the conviction that patient voice is the seed of patient-centered insights. We will focus on creating a patient-centered care environment in its true sense."
