The Amgen Foundation announced on January 18th that it will start its service in Korean on 'LabXchange,' an online science education platform developed by the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Harvard University, which provides free science experiential learning opportunities.
Lab Xchange has been used by over 20 million learners in 230 countries and regions since its launch worldwide.
The service has been built to support 14 multilingual functions including Korean in the user interface along with the update of educational assets such as continuous development of learning contents.
Learners can learn through the online library mainly including multimedia contents, and instructors can design flexible learning courses to complement the science curriculum.
An official from the Amgen Foundation said, "Through cooperation with the vice president's office at Harvard University, we show our active investment efforts in LabXchange and intend to expand our influence on science education around the world by seeking opportunities to provide services for more learners.“
