GE Healthcare announced on the 29th that it has signed an MOU with Bundang Jeil Women's Hospital for research and development of ultrasound and fetal monitoring solutions.
The company explained that it provides a total ultrasonic solution that covers high-resolution to portable combined with AI.
Bundang Jeil Women's Hospital is a specialized obstetrics and gynecology hospital designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare with 37 specialists, and is a major hospital in the region that ranks first and second in delivery nationwide.
GE Healthcare Korea designates Bundang Jeil Women's Hospital as a regional base hospital, provides education for optimizing the use of ultrasonic devices, and supports more effective diagnosis and issue resolution through digital technology application.
Han Sung-sik, director of Bundang Jeil Women's Hospital, said, "The digitalization of ultrasonic equipment and management has allowed us to focus more on stable prenatal postpartum examinations and patient care."
Kim Yong-deok, executive director of GE Healthcare Korea, said, "Cooperation with Bundang Jeil Women's Hospital, which ranks first and second in delivery nationwide, is of great social significance in the era of low fertility as well as improvement of technology through clinical information."
