Ahn Jae-yong, president of SK Bioscience, participated in the "Zero Disposable Product Challenge" organized by the Ministry of Environment.
The Zero Disposable Products Challenge aims to reduce carbon generation from the use of disposable products and create a sustainable environment by making the use of multi-use products a part of daily life.
Participants will post photos on social media (SNS) with the meaning of "reducing the use of disposable products to zero" and point to the next runner.
President Ahn Jae-yong participated in the challenge with the nomination of Lotte Biologics CEO Lee Won-jik, and pointed to Lee Jung-seok, chairman of the Korea Biopharmaceutical Association, as the next participant.
"By participating in the challenge, I was able to recall the important meaning that a sustainable future starts with small practices in life," CEO Ahn said. "As a leading vaccine company in Korea, we will do our best to advance ESG management so that economic and social values can be realized together."
