The Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio Association held a board meeting on the 15th and appointed executive director Lee Jae-guk (photo) as its next vice chairman.
The vice chairman's term is two years.
Vice Chairman Lee Jae-guk joined the Korea Pharmaceutical Association in 2013 after serving as a director of Daewoong Pharmaceutical and served as the head of the communications department, the head of the planning department, and the managing director for four years from 2020.
Born in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, in 1965, he completed Masan High School, Seoul National University's Department of Social Welfare, and Hanyang University's Graduate School of Journalism and Information. He also trained at the University of North Carolina and completed KAIST's CEO course (2nd phase).
He served as the political manager of Kyunghyang Shinmun and vice chairman of the Korea Journalists Association.
In addition, the Korea Pharmaceutical Association appointed Yoon Woong-sup, vice chairman of Ildong Pharmaceutical, as its next chairman.
The term of office is two years.
